Charlene is a gifted, loving, fun young woman that I just recently met. She lives and loves in a house of four younger siblings, two of which are 3-year old twins. And that’s not counting her older brother who’s away at college. She loves the wonderful chaos of being a part of a large, growing family.
She is an AVID reader. One of her favorite authors, Tamora Pierce, is quoted as saying, “without reading, we are all without light in the dark, without fire in the cold.” As I photographed her in our local library, her excitement and enthusiasm for reading was obvious. She darted around from section to section, seeming to know exactly where all her favorite books and authors were kept.
With her best friend, Miranda, with us we ventured out to a local park where we fed the birds, took in the woodsy scenery, and enjoyed a rare winter evening of golden sunshine. Oh yah, and we of course had to do some cliche road shots.
This was such a fun little side project…getting to celebrate a young woman and show her how beautiful and unique she is…photography is just awesome.
